INVOLVED IN A CAR ACCIDENT?
1. Do Not Admit Fault!
Keep your composure and do not admit to any fault. Make sure you and others are ok. If you are not too seriously injured, take photos of the vehicles involved in the accident.
2. Go to the Hospital!
Even if you feel ok, some injuries don't surface for hours or days after an accident. Don't take any chances. Better to get checked out immediately.
3. Speak to a Lawyer Before the Insurance Company!
Do not call your insurance company before speaking with an attorney. When you report your claim, your insurance company will record the call. While the agent will sound compassionate and friendly, your insurance company will use any information you provide to their advantage to reduce the amount they will pay out. Don't fall for any traps. Speak to a lawyer first!
